美作三湯芸術温度

美作三湯を舞台に、2016年に誕生した美作三湯芸術温度。県内外のアーティストによる作品制作・展示を通して、このエリアでしか味わうことのできない新しい文化価値の創造・発信を目指すアートプロジェクトであり、3年に一度開催される。

岡山県北にある西日本有数の温泉地「美作三湯（湯原温泉、奥津温泉、湯郷温泉）」を舞台とし、温泉宿や周辺施設に芸術作品を展示する回遊型アートイベントです。
タイトルには、温泉のぬくもり、温泉宿のあたたかいおもてなし、アートを鑑賞した後の感動など、実際に体感できる感覚を「温度」という言葉に託し、訪れる人にこの「温度」を感じてもらいたい、アート作品から新しい感動を発見してもらいたいという思いが込められています。

Mimasaka Three hot springs Art Temperature

Mimasaka Sanyu Art Temperature was born in 2016 in Mimasaka Sanyu. This is an art project that aims to create and disseminate new cultural value that can only be experienced in this area, through the creation and exhibition of works by artists from within and outside the prefecture, and is held once every three years. This is a traveling art event set in one of the leading hot spring resorts in western Japan, ``Mimasaka Three Hot Springs (Yubara Onsen, Okutsu Onsen, and Yunogo Onsen)'' located in the north of Okayama Prefecture, where artworks are displayed at hot spring inns and surrounding facilities. The title uses the word ``temperature'' to describe the sensations that can actually be experienced, such as the warmth of a hot spring, the warm hospitality of a hot spring inn, or the excitement after viewing art, and we want visitors to feel this ``temperature.'' The idea is to have people discover new emotions from the artwork.
